Cleenland is a great low-waste store that opened up in the Central Square area of Cambridge in the summer of 2019. It smells great and has products that I’ve never seen available around Boston before including toothpaste tablets, bulk face mask powder and many different cleaning liquids.
The hygiene section has bar soaps, sponges, scrubbers, bottle brushes, bamboo and recycled plastic toothbrushes, tooth powder and tablets and tongue scrapers.
There are nice little soap holders to keep your bar soap dry and last longer. They have shampoo bars, floss, shave soap, safety razors and glass bottles.
There’s a shelf to leave an empty container if you have extras or to take one if you forgot to bring yours along!
They sell a variety of deodorant sticks packaged in cardboard tubes and bulk castile soap in a few different scents.
They have liquid dish soap and an all-purpose cleaner concentrate that you can dilute for a variety of uses around the home.
There are boxes of powdered oxygen bleach laundry booster and dishwasher detergent.
The back shelf has a few different bath salts, clay masks and face scrubs. There are jars and small containers that would be great to give as gifts for birthdays or the holidays!
Currently there is both unscented and lemon laundry powder.
If you’re having a picnic or event you can find compostable cutlery and dishes at Cleenland.
There is beeswax food wrap and pumps and spray heads for sale to be used with different bottles and containers.
These reusable silicone bags are great for food or anything you’d normally keep in a plastic baggy. I like to use them to keep my liquids in when I fly on a plane.
There are cloth produce bags and crisper bags to keep your produce fresh in the fridge longer.
The center table is full of liquid soaps, shampoos, lotions and conditioners, all of which smell fantastic.
There’s a table near the door featuring some back to school supplies from Make and Mend, another great secondhand shop in the area!
